You’ll find various parking options nearby:
Chaucer Street – runs parallel behind Acland Street, offering several four-hour free parking spots. Street parking is available Monday to Friday.
Belford Street – is conveniently close and also has free parking options.
Shakespeare Grove – provides two-hour free parking until 6 pm, after which it becomes paid parking. But don’t worry, it’s right across the road from Flour Child.
Traveling by train? Hop on the Sandringham line and arrive at Balaclava station. From there, it’s just a quick 15-minute walk to Acland Street. Alternatively, you can catch a tram for added convenience.
Several tram lines will take you to Acland Street in St Kilda. The most popular ones are Route 96 or 16. For planning your journey, visit yarratrams.com.au.
Flour Child St Kilda is just a few minutes’ walk (250m) from the Palais Theatre, making us the perfect spot for dinner and drinks before the show or a post-show debrief once the curtain comes down.

There is also street parking available on surrounding streets.
We are a 2min walk from East Richmond Station.
Tram Route 70 stops right out the front (corner of Swan & Church Streets) and runs directly to Melbourne’s Sporting & Entertainment Precinct.
Tram Route 78 runs north–south, connecting Chapel Street and Bridge Road shopping precincts.
