An Abecedarian on Acland

You may be wondering “what in the world” did you just read? And yes, I am sure that you are searching for the word right now as well, so did I but worry less because as pretentious as it may sound, it’s not.
We’ve lost track of days, ran out of movies and series to binge watch and the lack of motivation to do even the simplest of tasks because of the pandemic but one thing I am sure that we did not forget is that feeling of excitement to go out and about and see our friends and families once again.
The seasons may change throughout the year but the feeling of spending it with the people closest to you, never will. And speaking of season, summer is just around the corner and most definitely better days are coming. Why? Because it would mark the 1st birthday of Flour Child. The year has come and gone so quickly and to be honest it doesn’t really feel like we have been open for a year. Probably because for a good part of nine months we have had to remain closed. But still, Flour Child has been keeping up with the busy streets of Acland (on and off thanks to ‘Rona).
Flour Child may still be a new kid on the block (hence the title) but it surely knows how to throw a punch.
Still learning the laws of the land but certainly making a lasting impression on all who dare to venture in…
What is Flour Child you ask? The answers are simple, just go and check it out yourself and you will find that,
“Flour Child is a cocktail bar disguised as a pizzeria”
that will surely be your next hang out spot. The pizzas are remarkably different as we do Pinsa instead of the traditional pizza base, so the dough is light and airy (basically not a typical pizza) and the toppings are crafted by a world-renowned chef who has travelled through Italy learning to select the prefect flavor combinations to complement each other in a subtle but enduring way. Not to mention the drinks selection on the other hand are endless.
